NEFT services in ICICI Bank can be used 6 times a day (9.30 am, 10.30 am, 12.00 noon, 1.00 pm, 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm) and 3 times on Saturdays (9.30 am, 10.30 am)  and 12.00 noon).

In addition, from December 16, 2019 onwards, customers can transfer money online through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) 24×7 i.e. at any time of the day and any day of the week.

RTGS Timing

Real-time gross settlement (RTGS) is available 24×7 from December 14, 2020, according to RBI.

It is also important to note here that many banks have a cut-off time, which means they do not allow customers to enter the bank after this time.  Usually, this happens 30-60 minutes before the closing time of the bank.  Make sure to enter the bank well before the cut-off time so that the bank staff can attend to your needs.

Bank’s lunch timings are also not fixed and it may differ from one bank to another.  Many times, there is a lunch break in most of the banks from 1.30 pm to 2 pm.  However, in many banks, employees do not take lunch breaks at the same time and there are always a few people attending to the needs of the customers.
